EU anti-circumvention investigation of hot-rolled stainless steel sheet and coil originating in Indonesia imported from Turkey
On 26 July 2022, the European Commission launched an anti-circumvention investigation into the possible circumvention of the anti-dumping measures imposed by Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1408 on imports of hot rolled stainless steel sheet and coil originating from or imported from Indonesia, regardless of whether Whether to declare as originating in Turkey and make such imports subject to registration.
The products involved in possible circumvention are stainless steel flat products without further processing other than hot rolling, excluding plates with a width ≥ 600mm and a thickness > 10mm. According to the regulations, the investigation will be concluded within 9 months from the date of entry into force of this regulation.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
