AISI/SS 316 / 316L cold rolled stainless steel coils are designed and supplied by Huaxiao Stainless Steel at an affordable price. These coils have a variety of surface finishes, sizes, and colors. This is also provided by them in custom lengths. 316/316L grades stainless steel coil provides better corrosion resistance and good high-temperature strength, which makes them suitable for a variety of applications. Generally, this grade meets various standards and is the most used stainless steel grade. It has better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. 316/316L stainless steel coil also has tensile, creep, and stress rupture strength, and also has excellent welding and forming properties.

General Description of Type 316 Stainless Steel
SUS 316 coil is special stainless steel, due to the addition of Mo elements to corrosion resistance, and high-temperature strength has greatly improved, high temperature up to 1200-1300 degrees, can be used under harsh conditions.

316 Cold Rolled Coil Application
The main uses are paper and papermaking equipment, heat exchangers, dyeing equipment, film processing equipment, pipelines, and building exterior materials in coastal areas. also used in the field of solenoid valves, housings, clamps, balls, valve bodies, seats, nuts, stems, and so on.
Type 316 Stainless Steel other features
- Corrosion resistance
316 Corrosion resistance is better than 304 stainless steel, in the pulp and paper production process has good corrosion resistance. And 316 stainless steel is also resistant to the erosion of the oceans and the aggressive industrial atmosphere.
- Heat resistance
coil 316l has good oxidation resistance for intermittent use below 871 ° C (1600 ° F) and continuous use above 927 ° C (1700 ° F). It is best not to continuously use 316 stainless steel in the range of 427 ° C-857 ° C (800 ° F-1575 ° F), but stainless steel possesses excellent heat resistance when 316 stainless steel is continuously used outside this temperature range. 316L stainless steel carbide precipitation performance is better than 316 stainless steel, available in the above temperature range.
- Heat treatment
Annealing is performed at a temperature in the range of 850-1050 ° C followed by rapid annealing followed by rapid cooling. 316 stainless steel cannot be hardened by heat treatment.
- 316 SS Welding Performance
316 SS with good welding performance. All standard welding methods can be used for welding. Welding can be used according to the purpose, respectively 316Cb, 316L or 309Cb stainless steel filler rods or welding electrodes. In order to obtain the best corrosion resistance, the welded section of 316 stainless steel needs to be annealed after welding. If 316L stainless steel is used, no post-weld annealing is required.
