1. Summary

The most basic 18Cr-8Ni stainless steel, a representative steel grade of 300 series stainless steel.

The most widely used and most widely used steel grade in stainless steel.

2. Features

1) Excellent processing performance;

2) Excellent welding performance;

3) It has strong corrosion resistance to oxidizing acids, and also has certain corrosion resistance to lye and most organic and inorganic acids;

4) The operating temperature range is very wide (-196 C0~800C0);

5) The solid solution state is non-magnetic;

6) The cold-rolled product has a good gloss and a beautiful appearance.

3. Scope of Application

Household products (category 1, 2 tableware, kitchen cabinets, stoves, indoor pipelines, water heaters, boilers, bathtubs), auto parts (windshield wipers, mufflers), medical appliances, architectural decoration, chemistry, chemicals, food and beverages, agriculture, ship machinery Wait.

8. Use Status

1) Annealing and solid solution state:

NO. 1, 2D, 2B, No. 4, HL, BA, Mirror, and various other surface treatment states

2) Rolling hard.

9. Precautions for Use

-Magnetic phenomenon will appear after cold working;

-Cl-environment is prone to pitting corrosion and stress corrosion cracking;

-Since sensitization is prone to occur between 475 and 8500C, grain boundary corrosion is prone to occur in the welding-affected zone. After welding, rapid cooling or heat treatment should be used to avoid grain boundary corrosion.
