Definition of Stainless Steel Strips
1. The stainless steel strips can be understood as an extended product of ultra-thin stainless steel plates. It is usually a long and narrow stainless strip that is manufactured to meet the needs of various industrial production machinery products. The stainless steel strip is also known as the ss strip. The maximum width cannot exceed 1220mm, but the length is not limited.
According to the processing method, the stainless strip can be divided into cold-rolled stainless strips and hot-rolled stainless strips. The stainless steel strip has excellent strength, accuracy, surface finish, and other properties. It is widely used in aerospace, petrochemical, automotive, textile, electronics, household appliances, computers, and precision machining.
2. Classification of stainless steel strip
Stainless steel strips can be divided into hot rolling, cold rolling, ordinary stainless steel strips, quality stainless steel strips, and precision stainless steel strips. There are many types of stainless steel belts, which are widely used.
There are 201 ss strips, 202 ss strips, 304 ss strips, 301 stainless steel strips, 302 stainless strips, 303 stainless strips, 316 stainless strips, J4 stainless strips, 309S ss strips, 316L stainless strips, 317L steel strips stainless, 310S stainless strips, 430 stainless strips, etc. They can all be made into 3mm stainless strips.

3. Stainless steel cold strip
It is made of a stainless strip or roll plate and rolled by a cold rolling mill at room temperature. Its normal thickness is 0.1mm ~ 3mm and its width is 100mm ~ 2000mm. Stainless cold rolled strip has the advantages of smooth surface, leveling, high dimensional accuracy, and good mechanical properties. The sequence of the production process of stainless steel cold rolled strip or roll is pickling, normal temperature rolling, process lubrication, annealing, leveling, fine cutting, and packing.
4. Hot rolled stainless steel strip
The hot-rolled stainless steel strip is made of a hot rolling mill with a thickness of 1.80mm-6.00mm and a width of 50mm-1200mm. Hot rolled stainless steel has the advantages of low hardness, easy processing, good ductility, and so on. Its production process is acid washing, high temperature rolling, process lubrication, annealing, leveling, fine cutting, and packing.
