Quality objection processing: stainless steel film problem

Case Overview:

Customers reported that after a batch of stainless steel traffic booths were delivered for use, they encountered difficulties in tearing off the plastic film on the stainless steel surface, and the plastic film could not be torn off in one piece.

And after tearing off the glue film, there is residual glue sticking to the stainless steel surface, which can only be cleaned with organic solvents such as alcohol.
Due to a large number of sentry boxes, the workload was huge, and the users also expressed dissatisfaction.

Case Study:

This batch of stainless steel booths is made of 2mm thick 304/2B sheets, and domestic black-and-white films are used. They are only used to protect the surface and prevent scratches during the bending process.

The occurrence of the above-mentioned quality situation is caused by the obvious failure of the glue film and the liquefaction of the glue layer.
After investigation, it has been 6 months since the batch of stainless steel plates left the factory to the sentry box delivery, and it was delivered in March and delivered in September.
The weather is hot, and the guard box is exposed to the sun.

Both in terms of time and temperature, it exceeds the use conditions of the film.
After the glue layer of the glue film is liquefied, the adhesion force is greatly increased, which increases the difficulty of tearing off the glue film, and there will be a large amount of residual glue on the stainless steel surface.

Process Result:

For residual glue, only organic solvents can be used for cleaning. If xylene or acetone is used, the effect will be better than alcohol.
The use of the film should generally not exceed 3 months.
If it is a hot season or outdoors, the time will be shortened, so pay attention to these situations when using the film.
