China Baowu Mining Professional Committee was established!

On April 9, the inaugural meeting of China Baowu Mining Professional Committee, Baosteel Resources Association for Science and Technology, Baosteel Resources’ First Science and Technology Conference, and a special exchange meeting for industry-university-research cooperation were held in Wuhan.

On behalf of the China Baowu Science and Technology Association, Tuo Ximei, deputy secretary-general of the China Baowu Science and Technology Association, congratulated the establishment of the Mining Professional Committee and Baosteel Resources Science and Technology Association. After the establishment of the China Baowu Mining Professional Committee, Baosteel Resources Science and Technology Innovation Department will be responsible for the planning and organization of the work of the special committee.

The Mining Professional Committee takes China’s Baowu Smart Manufacturing “Four Unities” as its guiding ideology, and based on the application of digitization, Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence, it strengthens the research and development of new processes and technologies in resource development, green mines, smart manufacturing, and comprehensive utilization.

Development, through scientific production increase and technology cost reduction, committed to building a technological innovation system covering the entire group, implementing a special promotion plan in accordance with the strategic requirements of China Baowu, effectively promoting the deep integration of production, learning, and research in the mining sector, and leading the technological progress and development of China’s mining sector.

For Baosteel Resources’ scientific and technological innovation work, he put forward three requirements:

First, Baosteel Resources must courageously be the “chain length” to build China’s Baowu steel raw material industrial chain supply chain;

second, scientific and technological innovation must insist on focusing on cost, efficiency, wisdom, and greenness.

The third is to give full play to the mining professional committee and scientific collaboration, vigorously strengthen the cooperation of industry, university, and research, and jointly build the Baowu mining technology innovation ecosystem.
